Kerrville and the surrounding Texas Hill Country have so many fun things to do that it's almost impossible to list them all. There's no reason to ever be bored in the Hill Country.
There are outdoor activities, from tubing, swimming, and kayaking the beautiful clear rivers and creeks, to hiking and biking in the hills to golfing to bird-watching to fishing and hunting. And the Hill Country is a center for camps, summer and otherwise.
And, did you know that Kerrville is home to the only U.S. Olympic Training facility for shooting sports? The Hill Country Shooting Sports Center offers outdoor activities including skeet and trap shooting. The Center is open to the public year round when there is no training in session. In fact, at the Olympics in Beijing, China, several medals were won by shooters who trained right here in Kerrville!
